The End of the Technological Age

When it all came toppling down we were in bliss.  No longer were we tethered to our devices.  We stepped outside and we knew our neighbors again. We were human again.  It was a hard year 2012, but humanity had survived.  Solar flares had come; destroying circuits and frying wires just like the futurists had predicted.  The odd thing was, chaos never happened. The world had just ended and it forced us to love each other once again.  We chose not to rebuild the world the way it was.  We chose to let go of the idea of money and let in the warmth of another human soul. Technology was the fuel in the vehicle driving us away from each other.  We lived once more.
